On the plus side - Tom Brady is done.

He'll have some good games, but he's done.  He's well into decline.

Cripes he’s only 42.

For me this game came down to 5 key mistakes made by Josh Allen.  All three INT's and two sacks in FG range are all on him, unforced errors due to trying to do too much.   Secondarily, wasting challenges by McDermott was terrible, two awful challenges with no chance of getting them overturned.    Heck, we played the entire 4th quarter with no timeouts and had to take a penalty down by the goal line that may have wiped out a go ahead TD.   Third was some costly penalties but all in all the team played hard and they could have been overcome.

The punter has not been bad before this game was he?  The blocking was a problem on two punts, one was blocked and the other he shanked due to a rusher.

Very encouraged by the effort by the D and the offense without the mistakes outplayed the Pats offense.   We ran the ball well against this tough defense.  A lot to be encouraged about but we f moral victories, you have to start beating these guys.

I don't think it would be overreacting to say that Dawkins looks very shaky at tackle. It's not just in today's game either.  I think there may be legitimate concerns about Allens pocket awareness and decision making process at this point of his career.

Yes, I agree.  Both tackle positions are still very questionable, and Allen certainly did not handle pressure well today.

Bills should have won.....its really important that there is no negative hangover next week.   Mariota folds under pressure.

Tom Brady looked really bad.  That's an amazing effort by the Bills D. The difference in the game was that Brady knows how to throw the ball away when nothing is there.

I believe that this game shows how good the Bills have become, not how good the Patriots are.  Sure It is disappointing for the Bills to lose, but the Pats did not impress me at all. This game should help trigger other teams to go after them and we know they are watching.

It is too bad Gilmore got better at tackling since his time with us.

BB won’t stand for less. Sexy Rexy was OK with his half arsed effort. He gets away with all his holding these days though.

He played well the first three games, but everyone wanted Bojo gone in the preseason because we viewed him as a liability.

Not sure about others, but my concern with the offense right now is that they probably won’t have Josh Allen. TEN was the must win game, not NE and an injury to JA is one the Bills couldn’t afford.

I hope we can beat TN with Barkley, if need be (though I’ll be there and REALLY want to see Josh light them up). The next week I believe is the bye, so maybe Josh comes back there and finds his groove against the Dolphins?

I was questioning him but his stats are not bad and I dont really blame him for the issues today.  Block the rushers and he gets good punts off, poor blocking results in poor results.

The Punter is slow to kick, blocking is suspect they saw this on film and took advantage. The punter was exactly the same as he’d been in the other 3 games , the opponent was better. The JA errors were largely unforced , but that punt put points directly on the board.

I think it is reasonable Josh plays next week

Just seems like he takes a painfully long time to get his punts off.  And New England identified this and got a block and forced another bad punt with pressure.

If it were Tom Brady I’m sure it would have met the standard...

That might get you banished forever.

We should not have won. We made way too many mistakes, too many turnovers, too many poor decisions....

So  you think the blocked punt is on Bojo?  I did not consider that but will look at it again.  But that guy was right in there, not sure I agree.

The block wasn't his fault.

Hopefully. I’d be surprised if he makes the TEN game. We are entering the “ money “ portion of the schedule as far as having a path to ten wins goes. A loss to TEN would be much worse than losing to NE. I actually feel pretty good about where they stand right now. They were outgunned vs the Pats but got in a slobberknocker of a game and went to the wire. The season rides on Josh and hm getting more patient and not forcing things.

The way he trotted off was encouraging, but the fact that I wondered if he was out cold for a bit was not so encouraging......

They saw a weakness in the blocking and yes, I think Bojo is kinda slow to react.
