Honestly, this is the worst QB play I’ve seen since Peterman’s 5 INT game. Maybe worse?

The network needs to show coverage downfield on replays. It feels like half the game is cut off, especially on the many plays where Allen holds the ball forever and doesn’t want to throw into any sort of coverage.

he just makes far too many mistakes to have a career in this league. every single week. he will be out of the league in 5 years

There were some who said that. I’ve liked Josh up to now actually but this is unfortunately exactly what I feared, that he’d be one of these guys that has the deer in the headlights look in a big game.

I know this is hard to accept for Bills fans but the Patriots are a much better team. People kept trying to spin our 3-0 but we squeaked by three bad teams while making tons of mistakes. NE hammered three bad teams with few mistakes.

 

Josh will be fine but we aren’t some elite team on NE’s level like people were dreaming.

Excellent man coverage is forcing Allen to hold on to the ball.  Josh tends to move when that happens, and the defensive line is playing containment.

 

It’s not really anything more complicated than that.

Wood is ripping him on the radio for not recognizing it was underthrown and changing roles.  He needed to scope that out, slow down, and either knock it down, or tackle him there without giving up a 20 yard return.
