Watch it again.  He had to slow down and jump and Gilmore was on his back.  Brown is fast enough to run away from Gilmore if he's already behind him.  I'll stand by what I said.  Allen throws that 5 yards farther and Brown has a catch or at the very least Gilmore and the safety don't.
