BillsShredder83 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Here say obviously but valid point, not enough ball to go around and hes the odd man out. A man can dream https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/26/should-the-vikings-trade-stefon-diggs/
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) I’d love him in a Bills jersey. Now that’s a scenario where I’d call Zay not making the roster. Edited September 27, 2019 by Over 29 years of fanhood 1 1
Buffalo_Stampede Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) Get him for a 4th before NE gets him for a 7th. Edited September 27, 2019 by Buffalo_Stampede 4
JM57 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Diggs will only turn 26 near the end of the season and locked in for like 4 more seasons. IF he were available I would absolutely be willing to pay the price 4
thenorthremembers Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 No thanks. He is an average wideout who has name recognition. If youre going to pay someone that amount of money go big and get a game changer. Otherwise wait until the offseason.
billsfan1959 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 They will be able to find at least one (probably more) good receiver(s) in the 2020 draft. It is a talented and deep class. 1
Virgil Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 He’s been trash this year. I don’t know if his injury is nagging him still. But trash....
aristocrat Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 at the moment cousins isn't throwing much and they're winning running the ball well. they will need all the weapons they can get in that division so i dont see it happening.
Kirby Jackson Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) This one is a bit tough for me. I’ve been saying that a #1 WR is right near the top of the list for biggest needs but am not sure Diggs is that guy. If you combine that with his big contract (not that we have cap issues) I don’t believe that he moves the needle. Would he make the Bills better? Absolutely!! Is he going to push them to the next level? I doubt it. I guess that I’d be okay with it either way if the price was right. Edited September 27, 2019 by Kirby Jackson 3

MrSarcasm Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Too expensive, contract wise and picks wise to pull the trigger. I'd do it for a 3rd rounder on up, even KB was worth the risk on that. ?
Coach55 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Not for nothing, I would rather stick with the guys we have then go out and pursue high priced players - in spite of their ability (unless they are truly the right fit). McBeane has built a team around a specific, hardworking character type of players with average to above average ability. It is a platform being built for long-term, sustainable winning. There is nothing wrong with having high priced players, but as they are showing - talent isn't everything. 1
GunnerBill Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 I like Diggs. I think he is more naturally talented than Thielen but less consistent. There is a price I'd pay to do it. Anyone who trades for him is on the hook for this year and next. After next year the only guaranteed money a team trading for him is on the hook for is a $3.5m guarantee that activates at the start of the 2021 league year. So cut him before that and you avoid that too. If the Vikings trade him now they eat $12m of dead money. That would not be a smart move for them.

Unless they got multiple draft picks... and its only 1 year hit.
Matt_In_NH Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 The bills offensive output will not be affected by this if it happens.
