Nextmanup Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 That was a really good game. On a down note, I don't think I've ever seen a game that had TWO players carried off the field on stretchers.

But in general they did rarely post a good defense. It can be put on him. However, 250-300 yards a TD and no INTs doesn’t really put it on him... It’s hard to say how much was on Manning. The issue with that Pittsburgh game IIRC was that they Steelers just ran it down their throats. The earlier playoff games I’m not going to count against him: 99’, 2000’. In general the game plan against those colts teams was just run the ball and keep manning off the field. It worked until they changed the incidental contact rules.

It was a brutal hit but if you watch the replay it looks like none of the three helmets in the play touch at any point. All the impact came from the shoulder. 1

They probably should, although there are always times when the percentages would dictate kicking, such as when a 1-point kick gives you the lead, or gives you a two-score advantage.
Nextmanup Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Eagles say Maddox has movement in all extremities; being sent to hospital for more evaluation. Thank God for that. I never saw him move his arms after the hit and he never gave a thumbs up or anything like that as he went off the field on the stretcher. I really thought he may have had an issue with his upper body. Sounds like he's OK in that regard. 1
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Terrible tackling in this game. Green Bay forgot what running the football is.
ALF Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Darby is out week to week , if Maddox is also out , Jalen Ramsey is available for trade. 1

Trying to get waaay too cute. And Rodgers very loudly cried about McCarthy's poor play calling. Goal line offense was incredibly bad last night.

If there was ever a team that should seriously giving up a lot for Jalen Ramsey, it's the Eagles. The CB situation is the one thing that's likely to prevent them from being a legit SB contender. With Ramsey, they are. 3 hours ago, Mr. WEO said: And Rodgers very loudly cried about McCarthy's poor play calling. Goal line offense was incredibly bad last night. They were missing their two best receivers and a genuine red zone stud in Davante Adams. The injuries last night were brutal on both sides.

Then why would you pass 5/6 downs (4 in a row from the 1 yard line!!) with goal to go?? Rodgers can't sneak on one of those 4 downs from the 1? Awful play calling. 1
