Bangarang Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I was really hoping not to see Yeldon again. 1
mrags Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Maybe we should bring up wade from the practice squad. With almost no tape on him, the Pats wouldn’t know what him them.

brianthomas Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Wade sounds good on 1 level, but bad on another. In such a big game if youre the coach, i don't think you want to bring in a player as raw as him, with zero regular season game experience, to play vs the Patriots in such a huge game. It just doesnt sound like something he'd want to do. But we definitely shouldn't & cant go into this game with just Gore & Yeldon. A strong running game will be key to our success & Gore could get injured, Yeldon could have fumbleitis or we just need that change of pace back that can add some speed & shiftiness back there. I'd be surprised if we don't have Devin or someone else named to play soon.

Not sure which it is! I think they are being very cautious. While we all would love to win this game - realistically it’s going to be hard to challenge for the AFC East title with NE. It makes you wonder if they would rather make sure he is recovered than rushing him into a game, which at this point in the season, isn’t that important 1

Wonder what he meant. yeah coming back before it’s ready usually costs more tie off of the field. I assume he means take care of your body. They are paid to do that and a muscle pull means they are doing something improperly. I’m sure they get amazing treatments but a pulled muscle is no joke.
boater Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Wade is not an option. He's locked into the PS for year. He can't be brought up. 6

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Kroft is a guy I barely even remember is still on the team but man we need Singletary this week 2
Seasons1992 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Time to carry that weight, Joshua.......

RochesterRob Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Agree with those who say not to rush Singletary back if he is not ready. Still many games yet to be played.

I also doubt he has the tackle breaking ability of Knox. Singletary, that’s concerning. They didn’t add a RB so I fully expected Singletary to practice today. They cannot go into another game with Gore and Yeldon, especially with Gore’s age. Have to sign Marcus Murphy back IMO. Foolish, we should've signed Murphy a week ago??
CommonCents Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Orleans Darwka’s knee must be totally toast? I’d rather see him hitting a hole than Yeldon. I’d take Murphy as well. Do something before Sunday.

No way we can go into Sunday one injury away from having Yeldon get all the RB touches. Basically takes running completely out of the game and Bill will pounce on that completely.
HOUSE Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 T.J. Yeldon is the only real option. Has to play better...
LABILLBACKER Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 1 minute ago, HOUSE said: T.J. Yeldon is the only real option. Has to play better... Murphy is twice the RB of Yeldon. I think they thought they would throw to him more and they haven't? Marcus knows the entire playbook and you could plug him in behind Gore. I agree to be careful with Singletary. If he's not 100%, don't risk making the hammy worse. Not contacting MM is very confusing? 1
