Big Turk Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 (edited) Currently the Bills are ranked 8th in offense and 6th in defense in the NFL... Could the Bills legitimately finish in the top 10 in both offense and defense this year? The last time the Bills finished in the top 10 on offense was in 2000 where they ranked 9th...they also finished 3rd on defense that year as well... Edited September 23, 2019 by matter2003

It's still too early to make any real predictions, but they certainly seem like a well-disciplined, well-coached team. Let's hope they finish TOP 10 in both and give us a long-awaited home playoff game or two.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 I'd love to say yes but its too early to tell.

Seven-N-Nine Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Wait 10 more weeks, then let's reevaluate. 2
BillsFanSD Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 They either will, or they won't, so it's 50-50. 2
klos63 Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 I thought our 2014 team was pretty balanced, great defense , pretty good offense. Not sure what the rankings were, but having Allen makes the difference for this team.
row_33 Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 seen a few 4-1 starts crater the last 20 years or so maybe i dreamed all that, and it really isn't so bad after all

Only 3 games Our opponents record thus far 1-8 Yet to play NE (twice) which likely impacts the rankings; Plus Phi, Bal, Dal

IDBillzFan Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 It doesn't matter because that's not what we need. We only need one thing: a 300-yard passing effort. And that's all we need. A 300-yard passing effort. And this ashtray. And these matches. And the remote control. And the paddle ball. And that's it. And nothing else. 1 2

Chris66 Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Still think the 2002-04 Bills teams were the most rounded. Those d was scary good.

I remember in 2004 they had that 6 game win streak up til the final game where they were decimating teams and scoring tons of points but then it all went out the window in week 17 against the Steeler backups.

I think that 2003/2004 season Bills had a great offense and defense...just poor coaching.. Bledsoe/Moulds/Price/Reed/Reimersma/McGahee on offense...and Takeo/Fletcher/Clements on defense. 1
