ChicagoRic Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Let's be clear, we are playing a version of the NE offense. Will this help our defense, or is it a wash because NE (basically) knows our offense too?
Seven-N-Nine Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Not sure how it cannot benefit the Pats D. 1
Apocalypse Nuts Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 One would like to think it would, somehow. But BB is the dark master. He's proved it time and time again. My dream is that McD and Daboll have a lot up their sleeves for BB and Brady but don't want to tip their hands until it's absolutely necessary - maybe 2nd meeting or playoff game? One can always dream, eh?
YoloinOhio Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 It didn’t last year. Offense couldn’t do anything with Or without Allen 1

Nextmanup Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 I am curious to see if Josh Allen can run the ball at all in this game. My theory is that there is enough tape out there now for BB to make sure Allen does not run like a gazelle all over the field. Can Josh overcome that and still be effective? One of many side stories to watch.
ddaryl Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 (edited) Yes it helps. it helps because I believe DaBoll's success as a coach comes from having roots in the Bellicheck coaching tree. That alone gives him some insight to the mindset beign used in NE. Daboll is a dynamic game planner. He will have something dialed up for NE that we have not seen much of, or at all this season. It will be based on where he feels they have perceived weaknesses and of course how he thinks Bellicheck and Co are going to plan for us. Familiarity has to have some advantages 2 minutes ago, Warcodered said: To be fair though we didn't have much in the way of weapons then. we also had 4 different OL starting that sucked Edited September 23, 2019 by ddaryl
billsbackto81 Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 We need Motor in this game and the O line to play lights out to have a chance to win this game.
JohninMinn. Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Blocking and tackling penalties and dropped passes are the only factors. Bill's must execute.

H2o Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 I think if anything it benefits BB and the NE defense. BB is Red Beaulieu and Daboll is Coach Klein. The real problem though? Tom Brady is married to Vicki Vallencourt.
WideNine Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 None of the former NE coaches have been able to outcoach Belichick. So there you have it, advantage zero. Does not mean the Bills curl up in some corner sucking their thumb. Have to come out and execute, be physical, win their 1 on 1 battles, and let the chips fall where they may.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Did it benefit us last season?
