Campy Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 It's not nice to refer to bar hags as roaches. You're better than that. 299885 So I've read.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Scary thing is...this type of reasoning goes on FOR REAL and is a HUGE part of the reason why we are in the pickle we are in terms of oil consumption. 299611 If it's possible to make engines that can get 50 miles to the gallon or better (and still use them in your average sedan, not some mini), then why hasn't it happened since in a free market those cars should sell like hotcakes? I thought the free market solved all problems?

They are both heavily influenced by government regulations.
PTS Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I prefer more light after work then before work. 299879 I competely agree. I think we should always be in DST.
beausox Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 This is a question of enormous import. On the one hand there is the issue of daylight saving and on the other saving time in daylight. This type of thing is not for the weakneed.
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 All for it. I am NOT a morning person and it doubly sucks being on the eastern edge of the Central Time Zone.
