This is an ignorant take.

Not his take.  It's what more than a few posters here said when they drafted him.

'Take' is Japanese for poster, so I was calling the poster ignorant, not what she said.

But he never scored in college, why did they waste a pick on him.

You may recall on Draft day, Beane traded up to #96 and took Knox.

Patriots immediately traded out of their #98 pick, like Knox was the guy they wanted.

It was also a joke.

I guess if I have to explain sarcasm, it's not worth posting.  You see-some on the board didn't like the pick, thinking that since he didn't score in college, he wouldn't score in the NFL, he did score today, so I thought the post was kinda funny. You had to be there, I guess.

The impressive part: Knox seems to have an average physique, but dishes out above average punishment. Cool.

Unlike Gronk in his day who came across as a 'roided out beast, magnified by the stupid arm brace he was allowed to wear.

Great game, rookie.

This was after he missed/dropped that pass in the 1st half.

McDermott clearly said, "One more drop, and this goes bye-bye."
