TPS Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 One of my favorite plays of the game was that TE sweep. 2

He crushed those corners!!! Let's hope it's a sign of things to come. I don't care if Tyler Kroft ever comes back. Nah, the announcers had it right. That was reminiscent of Bavaro. 1
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Loved the way he basically slapped the defender down on the big play.
CLTbills Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Helluva play by the rookie. Redeemed himself for the drop inside the 5 yard line in the first half. 1

It typically takes a while for TE to fully transition into the NFL, so he has lots of room for growth. We were all disappointed that Kroft wasn't available today, but we arguably lose the game without Knox. (No way to really know that of course). That and he missed almost all of training camp. 1

Charles Romes Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Since we won, and because of the big play at the end, we can all forget the drop on the two yard line in the first half.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Yep, just needs to catch those TD passes.
Artem Lipatov Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Beast mode. + TD - incompletion in end zone. Was it drop or good coverage? We don't need ever injuried Kroft. Let young Knox and Sweeney get experience and wins. 1
HappyDays Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I've had a good feeling about him since we drafted him. He's an athletic specimen like all of the great TEs in the league. You cant teach that. He was not used correctly at Ole Miss. Sweeney was ahead the first 2 games but now that Knox is fully integrated into the offense there's no question he's the best TE on the team.
bdutton Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Nominee for the GMF Angry run of the week. 3 2 2

Rocky Landing Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I posted that observation right after that play. If he keeps it up, opposing D's will need to account for that. It takes more than one backfield defender to take that guy down!

It's the size/speed combo, you don't expect to get planted like that by a 4.6 guy. Knox might get two bites at the apple for this week's #AngryRuns 2
