Beane has set it up so the two positions of need WR and DE can be addressed in the draft. Next years draft is  seen as deep in WR and DE.

I had to look up if Watkins played today or was injured.  I see he had a respectable 5 catches for 64 yards and a fumble.  Of all the things to complain about this week, this is puzzling.

Who knows if he works out but there were a few day 2 options. DK just hauled in a heckuva a catch but who knows long term. He’s started well though.

 

i tend to lean towards day 2 skill positions and spending for vet lineman if expecting immediate contribution.

We are building...that being said, once we add some more fire power on the outside and at RB, I think it will be off to the races...not there yet, but definitely a step up from last year.?
