And of course how the format provides disincentive for teams to play anyone outside of their conference (Clemson being the worst offender). College football was always about the regular season, and now it's all angling for a playoff spot. Nice win for Michigan today, though that offense still seems bad. The offense is good, it's the quarterback that is the problem. That being said, I don't see much innovation coming from our highly touted offensive coordinator. row_33 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Cheering for Michigan means meekly accepting 3 or 4 losses, at least 2 of them totally inexcusable, most years fiddle dee deeeeeee Quote

ExiledInIllinois Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 If Iowa had a halfway decent offense, QB, and especially coach... They crush Michigan. Iowa sucks because they beat up on lesser opponents and play a majority of their games @ Kinnick in Iowa City. Quote

Talley56 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Tough drop by Ronnie Bell. I honestly feel bad for him. Quote

row_33 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 i am sure you thought that was funny.... so how old are people when you tell them you think their knowledge and memories of great games don’t matter any more? i enjoy talking to people who recall the games of the 50s and 60s it was better when it was the 20s and 30s but nobody who saw Babe Ruth play is around any more Quote
row_33 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 I can see why you’d want to pretend the Paterno Era never happened when you are woke like you are. Quote
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Surprised not to see ~NG~ in this thread this morning. Then again, they only beat Notre Dame and not a REAL team. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Given ND being ranked #8 this was a good win for Michigan. They controlled all facets of the game. ND looked totally unprepared so don’t know what’s going on there Quote
