MattM Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Just heard on Sirius NFL radio that the League had a call with all officials last night regarding the proliferation of holding calls. How WWE is that? Just when the Pats* are down two tackles and Brady’s complaining on Twitter about penalties. You can’t make this stuff up.....
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 ...so then the Knox & Ford fines were legit?......effed up protective officiating now goes well beyond Brady today IMO.......

Prickly Pete Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 (edited) Brady has the biggest target on him, of any player in the league. If a referee thinks a defensive player is starting to edge in on the rules (I didn't watch the whole game, so I don't know what may have occurred prior to this play, then I don't see any reason why the ref shouldn't issue a reminder. There was no penalty called.... This is no big deal. I bet refs say these kinds of things to players all the time regarding QB hits in particular. Edited September 22, 2019 by 32ABBA 2
