I don't know that this is a must win game but this is a game that the Bills should win & if they are going to be a good team & make that natural progression to being a good team then this is a game they should win !! But it is not a game they should take lightly because the Bengals can score ...

GO BILLS !!

they are above the worst third of the NFL, we’ll see next week how things stand against the top third

Well since this is week 3 could this still be a must-win?

Yeah, you see how little energy I thought replying to this dumb idea was worth. Didn't check it even once.

Must-wins are must wins. If you can lose and then have even a theoretical chance at making the playoffs it's not a must win. An important game? Yeah, maybe. A game with major implications? Sure, possibly. There's a million ways to say it, but must-win is the usual over-exaggeration, especially this early.

In 12 weeks we will look back and see that the playoffs were earned on that final drive.  Now we need to root for Bengals against the rest of the AFC North.

Rubbish.

If we do look back at the end of the season and see we just barely made the playoffs, it will have been all 10 wins that got us there, not any particular one of them and certainly not one from the beginning of the season.

In that case, if we go into week 17 knowing that a loss will eliminate us, that final game and that game only will be a must-win.

If there was a game that is a must win, this is it. 3-0 and here come the defending superbowl champs that have dominated the league for waaaay to long. The upstart Bills in their own house and on fire should want this game waaaay more than the Patsies. They don't care about the history the Brady lead Patriots have. They care about forging their own mark in the history books. What better way than to dethrone the dynasty in spectacular fashion. This isn't just a win for the city of Buffalo. The whole nation will be rooting for the Bills to topple the Patriots on Sunday. To move out in front in the standings and defeating NE would be the ultimate statement. You know you are thinking it.

If you want to talk about must win, that is.....

Oh yea, this is the one.

Not all the Nation. Will the NFL and Goodell and Riveron and whoever officiates the game be rooting for the Patriots?

A Loss by NE is good for the NFL.

this way the people see that a chance exists and that the Putz can be beaten. That will make them tune in rather than just say :censored: it!   I'm not listening to the announcers brag about Brady

I've long said that Patriots dynasty is the worst thing to ever happen to the NFL. Especially the stuff in recent years, could have lived with the stuff through last decade-not this one.

Unfortunately the media has never felt this way!

This is one of 4 games this year that we can safely lose without affecting our chances at all (the other 3 are Pats again, Eagles, and Cowboys). I'm not stressed about this one. A win would be amazing but a loss doesn't change our direction.
