Would have loved to see where his songwriting would have taken him. All of those classic hits were done in a two-year recording career.

Croce defined Saturday mornings when I was a kid. I hear a song, it takes me back.

Harry Chapin sang about a taxi? Perhaps that's what has you confused?

It was a poor attempt at humor, but yeah, that's what I was going for..........Not only did he sing about a taxi, but he died young.

And songs.  Harry Chapin sang about flying (metaphor for getting high) in his taxi... But was killed in his VW by being rear-ended by a semi on the Long Island expressway.

If you were playing baseball and up to bat... You would have struck out badly by taking three strong wiffs at the air... But not before fouling the pitcher off on 20 consecutive pitches.  LoL... You were listening, but just couldn't put it all together.  Kinda Nathan Peterson-esque. I'd put you on my roster!  LoL...
