plenzmd1 Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Consider these facts going into last night 1) Offensive holding penalties in weeks 1&2 this year total 178 ( per Trey Wingo) 2) 66% Increase over last year 3) Pats place starting LT on IR this week 4) Pats place their starting Center on IR before the season then we get this last night, And they are getting play everywhere, and everyone is all "Look the GOAT" is saying stop calling so many penalties. I am pretty sure they aired it on the broadcast last night, and Golic show been yapping bout it for ten minutes... 4 1 3
Playoffs? Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Agree Brady wouldn’t have tweeted if it wasn’t going to directly benefit the Pats. 8

I can't say I counted all the penalties as justified last night but most of the offensive holds were holding. Sloppy technique. The two guards for Tenn really struggled from what I saw. Calais Campbell enjoyed his evening. 2
Inigo Montoya Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) Didn’t even occur to me to see Belichick’s finger prints on Brady’s tweet, but it really isn’t like the “Golden Boy” to take the League to task on social media is it? Maybe my tin foil hat is just on too tight, but you may be on to something here... Edited September 20, 2019 by Inigo Montoya 2
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 what a hypocrite. complaining about the refs. ***** you brady! 5 3
plenzmd1 Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) @Chandler#81 or @Hapless Bills Fan, sorry did not see @mead107 thread, i don't know how to merge. But the one i started really is a much more well thought out and nuanced idea, think his should just be deleted Edited September 20, 2019 by plenzmd1 1 7
Kirby Jackson Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 That’s an interesting thought Lenz and one that hadn’t crossed my mind. Everything that they do is measured. I think that you are onto something. 5

AAAND the only one on page 1, so we’ll just keep it going. Merging quality Pats* threads makes feel all dirty. Too early for that crap, 5

Strange really when you consider he is usually crying for a penalty. 6 1

Royale with Cheese Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) The delay knock down.... Looking at it again, his how offensive lineman looks like he actually shoves him down lol. Edited September 20, 2019 by Royale with Cheese 5 2
Gray Beard Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Anybody else would get a fine for criticizing the refs. For him, the refs will get updated instructions. The end result will be fewer penalties called against his O-line “in order to avoid slowing down the game.” 1
Augie Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 So, if Tommy Boy wants fewer flags thrown, does that mean we can touch him now, or at least look in his general direction???
MJS Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 It's the spawn of Ed Hochuli. What do you expect? When you play with him, expect penalties on every other play. 2 1
RiotAct Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 yeah I’m pretty sure Joe Buck mentioned Tom Brady at least a dozen times last night. Plus, I’m sure many more times after the broadcast ended... if ya know what I mean

The Golic show also mentioned how it appeared "someone" listened, as the penalties magically stopped after Mr. Bundchen's tweets. 1
Scott7975 Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Well then why do him and his team look for and cry for flags on every busted play they have? 1
ddaryl Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Brady is a 1st ballot HOF who is still playing at an extremely high level. When he talks the league will listen no matter how much it aggravates us. Our complaints reside in the favoritism that the Pats appear to get from the refs.
