Well this was sort of depressing. I was hoping to find some entertaining unintelligent posts similar to what ran rampant on the Giants board last week. Instead I found a fan base with no hope in their team. I took no pleasure in at all. It gave me flashbacks to a few short years ago when all hope being lost was the norm for us. Well here is the link if you wanna check it out:

I’ve noticed a lot of their comments over on the Athletic are all negative toward the Bengals. They actually remind me a lot of Sabres fans after a bad loss. They’re just sick of the constant ?

I’m not sleeping on Cincy though. I’m not confident enough in the Bills yet to sleep on any team.

I don’t think the Bengals are as bad as they showed on Sunday. That game got out of hand quick. Kyle Shanahan schemed it perfectly and found some big holes in the Bengals D. Then they sort of just ran the same handful of plays over and over because Cincy couldn’t stop it. I don’t see that happening again this week. I’m sure they’ll work to fix it.

Plus they're going to be hungry to bounce bounce back after being embarrassed.

Im still hopeful for a Bills win and will be disappointed if they lose. This is definitely a winnable game. But I don’t expect it to be nearly as easy as that 49ers win.

I agree not as easy as it was for the 9ers but Im still expecting a dominating win. Its the home opener and the crowd will be fired all the way up! Expect it to be the loudest we've heard it in years. Bengals keeping the game competitive late will be a tall order.

I'll say

Buffalo - 27

Bengals - 13

I live in Cincy. Locals hate their team because they hate Mike Brown (owner), first and foremost. Keeping Marvin about 4 years too long was also unforgivable by many who cancelled their season tickets over it. They rarely draft well (Mike Brown is heavily involved in their first round pick each year), and the Bengals are fleecing the city on their stadium deal. Plus, they have been snakebit for many years, losing in the most impossible ways (especially against the Steelers). They all love AJ (with good reason), but after that, maybe Geno too, but that's it. No excitement. No hope. Until Mike Brown dies (sadly).

I think the Bengals are probably better than their current record, but I have a hard time seeing us lose our home opener.  We should win the LOS battle on both sides, though not dominatingly. I'll go Bills 23, Bengals 16.

Buffalo Billies, Id like to think a lot of the posters will listen to you’re perspective as you are there and hear and see the Cindy fans and local radio guys.

I agree with the sentiment as Marvin should have been gone much earlier, and Brown hasn’t done much to create a winner.  I feel for Cindy fans as I can relate with our history and poor decisions in the past.  I do think we didn’t know it at the time, but the Jets and Giants are not very good.  I’m not detracting from my excitement our team has improved a great deal.

I firmly believe we will win, but won’t be as easy as many people think.  They may have lost in week 1, but they played Seattle tough and came close.  Seattle is one of the best teams in the league.  We need all our fandom as the 12th man and make that stadium deafening when we are on defense.  I’ll be there with my two sons, and a total of 18 of my family, and I fully plan to have no voice on Monday as I will only stop screaming when we’re on offense.  I love my team, and for us in the stands, it will be special remembering Pancho at halftime.

This is pretty much sums it up perfectly. Worst owner in sports. I think it’s going to be a closer game than people think on Sunday. I think we win but it takes until late in the game to put it away.

Bills - Vikings, 2018 season.  Buffalo was supposed to have just forfeited that game, weren’t they?

One game at a time.

Good point. Zimmer is a good coach who typically has his team ready to play. The Vikes weren’t ready at all that day and the Bills got some early turnovers and breaks. Any team can win on any given Sunday. Look at 2011 when the Bills beat the Pats for the first time In forever. Brady threw 5 picks. I don’t get the feeling McDermott will let his guys get to full of themselves, but they still need to execute. If it is a clean game I think the Bills win by 7-10 points at least. But when is it ever a clean game?

Cindy only has the #2 passing O by virtue of being #2 in passing attempts, and at the expense of having the #32 rushing O.  Their passing totals and mediocre 7.8 per attempt are also inflated by a 66 yard TD, which I don't think they will make a habit of against us.  They also have one of the lowest 1st down rates on passes for any of the teams with 400 total passing yards.  Also a lot of sacks allowed.

TL;DR Their O ain't that hot.

We're overall better on both offense and defense.  I can see why 90% would pick us to win.

This is 10000% true.

I'm still picking the Bengals to cover........scary game to me. Hope it's not.
