BrycePaup4ever Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 (edited) Listening to a new You Tube interview with Pancho Billa on Buffalo Fantatics channel. I respect Jim, but feel confused why he never met with him. I realize Jim had his own battle. Hope he talks on Sunday about Ezra. Come on Jim! Approx 12:45 mark Edited September 18, 2019 by BrycePaup4ever
yall Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 What's confusing about it? Yeah it's a cool story about Pancho Billa, but is Kelly supposed to meet with every ill fan? Half of the posters here probably had a family member who was a long time super fan that dealt with a life threatening illness. Should Kelly meet them all too? 33 1 5
Seven-N-Nine Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 This guy is hyped way too much IMO. Sad that he passed, but all the Pancho stuff has been a bit over the top I think. 21 2 6
BrycePaup4ever Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Fair point, but Jim had to know he was the face of the fan base. Jim is obligated to do what he wants. Jim also has the cash to make that visit on behalf of others. 1
co_springs_billsfan Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I never met him either. Jim has been fighting cancer of his own... 3 1

BrycePaup4ever Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Who cares if he is overhyped! He was the type of fan we all wish we had the ballz to be. 3

He can't latch onto every sob story there is. Ezra got more than his fair share in the media. Next Man (or woman) Up.

And now there is a big movement going around online with folks trying to get everyone to chant "Viva Los Bills!" at kickoff on Sunday. Give it a rest already. ? 5 1

Im fine with my level of fan-dom. It was a touching story on how the Bills and fan base took him in, and he seemed like a nice guy and all. The Pancho packs thing was great. But full-page collages in the Buffalo newspaper and a 5 minute pregame ceremony... and seeing people on social media suggestion he get inducted on the wall of fame, and we start a pancho billa chant before every game, etc is a bit... odd 9 4
BrycePaup4ever Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Alright well you guys go rep. the Bills in other stadiums like he did before you criticize Sunday.
zow2 Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I like the whole Pancho story. It's too bad Jim never met him or reached out to him. It doesn't always have to be about kelly either. 3
BrycePaup4ever Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Good point..why didnt the core of the sb teams go and meet him and take a photo titled "resilient"
whatdrought Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 This is stupid. Anyone who is upset about this is stupid. Wednesday's are stupid. Any day that isn't Sunday is stupid. Screw Antonio Brown. Screw Tom Brady. Screw the Patriots. 5 5 2

Call_Of_Ktulu Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 The Bills have a lot of stand out fans. Just four off the top of my head are Pinto Ron, The Chefs, Elvis and Poncho Billa(RIP). There are so many others that I haven't even named. Kelly has been fighting his own battle and I'm sure he is cherishing every second he can with his family. 6
