I said it looks promising.

Just not ready to crown anyone until there are some hides on the wall. Something like a home playoff win.

Never confuse effort with results.

And I don't necessarily think this team is more talented than the 2014 - 2016 teams especially at DLine,  WR,  DB, and RB.  Our coach is better and I'm hoping that makes the difference.

I totally get that, they need to win. But I think this is more than looking promising, I think it clearly IS promising. Will they win enough to be in or even win a playoff game? I don’t know about this year, but I’m good with the direction and am confident it WILL come. I will not be impatient, because there WILL be some bumps in the road. I felt all along next year we’d be serious contenders. If it comes sooner than that, all the better.

Just keep making progress, Josh! All things hang on that progress.

Realistically mike Evans would be great

Don't even mention that name to me. T. Hill was my pick at 12 in my FF draft followed by Evans at 13. Needless to say I'm struggling at the WR position so far this year.

We haven’t done this in a while.  Name one player you wish you could add to this team in magical land. No trades, no salary cap.  Just poof, they are on the team.

I’m going to go with Barkley, RB Giants.

I’m really tempted to go Michael Thomas or George Kittle here, but I’m good with a bonafide stud at running back.  Someone who can get the extra yard or two up the middle and defense have to respect out of the backfield as a catcher too.  I think the focus on him frees up a lot more space for receivers to get into.

I still don’t see where Brown or Beasley are having problems getting open due to extra coverage.  If anything, I’d say Kittle would be my number two.

Thoughts?  Who’s your person?

And it feels great to not have even considered a QB

That's easy, it would be DeAndre Hopkins without a doubt.

No love for my pick, Michael Thomas?

How great would this team be if we had a 26-year old guy opposite Brown that could do this...

Imagine if Mahomes was his quarterback in Payton's system.  Thomas would be setting records.

Thomas already is.   He has the most receptions (321) in his first three years of any WR in NFL history...

Sorry to hear about Hill with his injury and Evans hasnt been productive so far but he’s got Winston throwing him the rock. Imagine him on the bills? I think it would be a good fit given our other wr’s. Good luck with your fantasy team man.

Bo.

That was my thought, too. Bo pre-injury. Probably not the right position to pick but that guy was such a stud.

I think he could have played almost anywhere.

Freak hip injury took away an amazing athelete.
