Stads Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Looking at the rest of the schedule, we have seven games left against teams that are currently 0-2. Dolphins (Twice) Jets Broncos Steelers Redskins Bengals I would hope we can win at least 5 of these games. The only road games are the Dolphins and Steelers, which still should be tricky even without Big Ben. Go 6-1 in those games and then you only need to go 2-5 against the rest to get to 10 wins. Seems fairly plausible. 4 1
njbuff Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Just take it game by game. How do we know that 10 wins won't be a low bar? Just beat Cincinnati and take it from there. 4

PromoTheRobot Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 It's only a matter of time before the media starts floating the idea that it's a major down year for the AFC as a whole to explain the Bills success. (Honestly it's sure breaking our way a lot.) 1

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) For me part of the enjoyment is the week to week and each game being its own sub plot. looking ahead to the record for the season just seems silly at this point to me. edit: not saying those who feel differently are silly for doing it, but try living in the present. Enjoying the now... much more gratifying I feel Edited September 17, 2019 by Over 29 years of fanhood 2

Who were the tough teams on our schedule supposed to be, beside the Pats? Jets, Steelers, Ravens, Browns, Cowboys and Eagles? Jets are doomed. Steelers without Ben? I watched the Eagles and Browns this weekend and both Mayfield and Wentz played like crap when pressured. I'm not buying the Ravens and Jackson just yet. 12 wins is not out of the question right now.

BADOLBILZ Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 It's the schedule we always dreamed of, that is for sure. The only real pain on the schedule is having to play Dallas on TG. I can envision the Bills load managing that game if they somehow hold serve.........they could have a 2 game WC lead and the WC tie breakers(so essentially a 3 game lead) going into that game. Or they could suck. Guess we'll see. 3
technobot Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 This to me will be the true marker of whether this is a new era or same old Bills. We've seen quick starts before only to be let down as the Bills lose to the Bengals or some other mediocre/trash team. They should beat the Dolphins twice and the Jets again for that matter, but until it happens I'm still a little nervous. To be a great team they need to be able to consistently beat good teams, but to be a good team they need to take care of business in the games "they should win". Still a far way from being able to say "they've arrived" but a sweep/near sweep of the trash would be a great start. 1

CNYfan Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I think I will take this just one week at a time and stay focused on this week's opponent.

I will NEVER underestimate the Bills potential for a gut wrenching choke job. The kind that make you go numb for days. 2
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 try not to think too far ahead, it could give you a headache. on to the bengals...
