KingBoots8 Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 We ended Favre because of a physical injury, and we ended Eli by breaking his spirit I feel bad, but that’s the game.

KingBoots8 Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 Just now, GG said: Eli wasn't the problem. Mostly agree. Sure, he lost a step but when he has 3 of his top targets out he can only do so much. 2

Eventually the Bills manage to break a few long runs in the 2nd half and McCoy has a 100 yard day on the ground while Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer both snag 2nd half interceptions from Eli Manning who, though it is not known at that point, is starting for the Giants for the very last time. 2-0 Wise man predicted this. 1 5

H2o Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Eli isn't the problem in NY. The problem in NY is their defense, no weapons on offense outside of Barkley right now, and mainly Shurmur. 1

RiotAct Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 taking a loss to the Bills - the ultimate death knell
Ta111 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Can’t believe Schein called it exactly. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2019/09/14/cbs-sports-bills-defense-will-end-the-career-of-eli-manning-in-week-2/
DCOrange Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Just at a quick glance, the only real options I see for Eli (besides remaining as Jones' backup, which I think is most likely) are: Pittsburgh - Maybe as Rudolph's backup, maybe as the starter, but I think Pittsburgh is at least a little excited to see Rudolph in game action even if I personally think he's bad. Chicago - They already have Chase Daniel as Trubisky's backup though, and might not want to put any additional pressure on Trubisky as is. Green Bay - Their current backup is Tim Boyle. Jets - They probably think Darnold is only out a few more weeks though, so maybe they hold off, but Eli would certainly be an upgrade over Falk in the interim if they want to keep any hopes of a successful season alive. That's all I got.
