Dan Darragh Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I didn't realize that Christian Wade (#45) was playing for us last year.

LeGOATski Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I don't think Daboll was the first to run that play....

We weren't. No, that's not what I am saying at all. I'm saying He (Greg Roman) is running the same offense he ran while he was here. Edited September 17, 2019 by BigPappy

Rick Dennison was still the worst imo

I do think it looked a lot better when we did it though First thing I thought of when I saw it. Maybe it works better for running QBs. He was just as wide open as well.
Dan Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Why wouldn't playbooks stay with the team? So if coordinators leave you would still have the core of what you had spent years (perhaps) building remain in place.
Buffalo716 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Every single team in the NFL has that concept in their playbook It's honestly a basic concept

Just like I thought the same play out of a different formation with the same motion. They say its a copy cat league but damn. I was just telling a friend about this yesterday. I believe last year they also "stole" the jet sweep toss TD "pass" that we ran early in the season (and several times since, including the McKenzie TD "pass" on Sunday. I remember seeing a couple teams run that play last year and thinking to myself "Bills did it first!", even though I'm sure the Bills didn't innovate that play. I'm sure it's been run before.
