KingBoots8 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Per ESPN- he’s getting elbow surgery and he will be done for the year 1
unbillievable Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Ben might call it a career. ...and Mason Rudolph didn't look bad. 2
row_33 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 the 7th win clinches that division? sorry, 7-9 takes it, the 6th win clinches it?
PetermansRedemption Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I would be shocked if he didn’t retire. He wasn’t the same player in the 1 1/2 games he played this year anyways.

Yeah, Ben's been contemplating retirement for a while now, this might tip the scales for him. It's been rumored that coaches/team officials had to do a little convincing to get him back for this year.
dave mcbride Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Deion Sanders said last week that he wouldn't last the season and that he looked like someone who was pretty much done with the game. Granted, he didn't predict this injury, but he referenced how banged up of a player he was. I expect that his career is pretty much over. 1 1

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Suddenly, the second half of the season is looking a little bit rosier. 8
thunderingsquid Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 (edited) Wow. This is huge for us. And I only care about us btw. The AFC North is shaping up to be a one team race (Ravens). If the Chargers are susceptible to a passing attack like yesterday vs the Lions, then things are wide open for us in the wild card race. I don't see any wild cards coming out of the AFC south and I don't see the Browns living up to their hype. Big whoop, they beat the Jets. Things are wide open for us now if we take care of business. RyanC883 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I bet he comes back next year, but the issue will be if Rudolph plays well, what happens then? Terrible way to end a career. With Mason in, add McDonald to your fantasy teams if you need a TE.
YoloinOhio Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 And that's the story of how the Steelers went 0-16 and got Tua. 2 6 1
