Nuke was all over the NFL pre-game shows this morning.  The Saints-Rams rematch dominated the coverage, and they replayed the non-PI call a few hundred times.  I was always a huge Nuke fan and was sorry to see him get released.  I guess he wasn't a process guy, but his talent is undeniable.  I'm glad he landed on his feet, but I still wish he was here.

He resigned with the Bills and was actually released once McDermott took over.  I never understood why.  He was a pretty good nickel CB, which was ironic since his name was Nickel LOL

I’d get it if he didn’t fit in the defense like a Ron Darby, but I think he’d still be a good nickel CB in out defense

Nickell Robey-Coleman, the one that got away.....

Said that about my 1st wife until I met my 2nd wife.

Said that about my 2nd wife until I met my 3rd wife.

There will be no 4th wife.

McDermott likes his knickle safety to hit hard and and assist in running game. I really like Roby, but he was too small for this role. This is why Siran Neal and Rafeal Bush were the next men up for Taron Johnson when he goes down instead of like a Kevin Johnson

Yea he's just not physical enough for McDs defense

Our slot needs to play like a man possessed and does a lot of blitzing off the edge

Roby can cover but is a liability tackling

If so, too bad.  Nuke's a playmaker, he's always making plays.  I gotta think there's a spot for a guy like that anywhere.

I always liked him but it's the NFL and the slot is a specialist position

Some coaches like a pure cover guy like robey... Others like a blitz specialist or physical guy who can set the edge .

Some Defensive coordinators love a guy like robey others might think he's a liability in their scheme

McDermott is definitely in the physical slot category

He definitely a baller tho

You mean the guy who got roasted in the SB by Julian Edelman (who tooled on him when he played for the bills) is the one who got away?

Plz

Yea but they talked about that completely blown play that should’ve cost his team the super bowl today

what an odd day to hype him

I love that guy. It was so dumb to let him walk. He plays with so much heart, and is finally getting the recognition he deserved.

I will never forget Gronk lining up in the slot and Rex Ryan continually putting Robey on him

Smart man...unless you want to be destitute and penniless living on the streets, probably a wise decision...

My 3rd wife is dealing with breast cancer, she never complains. She's amazing.

Some fans crave national attention for their team...........low self of steam maybe?

The only national attention I want as a Bills fan is opposing fans hating on the Bills for winning a SB.

Let it go dude.  Bills are doing just fine without "nuke" (a nickname you gave him I presume?).  What is up with this board today???  Bills are 2 and 0. Enjoy it!!!

NRC, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Nuke.  I'd like to take credit, but someone else glossed him Nuke.  I posted this before the game after seeing Nuke on all the pre-game shows.  I was bummed when he was released, so I waxed nostalgic.  Sue me.

Nickel was one of the most fun rookie stories in my time watching this team. He kind of tailed off after that year but found new life in LA. Happy for him.
