Saxum Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 I was at a number of those games including the JEST game where they had no solution for him so they used a dirty hit to take him out of game.
Bob in STL Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Looks like a Hall of Fame player to me. Tasker’s receptions as a WR would have been much higher if the Bills knew what they had sooner. 3 2
MJS Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Great player. That play where he dove into the end zone to catch the punt (before it even bounced) and throw it back into the field of play to save the touch back was insane. 1
Dan Darragh Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 When he was playing it was fun even to watch special teams. I love the play where he dumps Deion 1 1
SpunkysSD Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 I was at every home season game Steve Tasker played in. I would watch him through my binoculars on ST when they would line up 2 guys against him and he was still the first guy down field every time. It was incredible to watch. This is separate of all the clutch catches he would make.

Kelly was always asking Marv to let Tasker play more on Offense. When it did happen, even then it was largely due to injuries. 1
GRHater69 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Love the tackle against the Raiders where Tim Brown gives him props for play. He was always well respected around the NFL for special teams and deserves the HOF. 3

When they both hit the ground looking at each other and he's like, "gotta give it to you, nice play"

Sherlock Holmes Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 I really think Tasker could have set WR records across the board if he were inserted into offense from day 1. Welker style but had the ability to catch in coverage. Look at the way he would catch in double coverage even with how small he was!

Steve Tasker playing as the 3rd WR, instead of Al Edwards. That would have helped a lot. Of course, running the ball against their 2 man DL and forcing them back to their standard 3-4 was the key and we discovered much too late.
Rubes Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 And that's just 92-96. There's another video for the years prior to that.
Badanswer Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 (edited) I have his jersey in home blue...loved watching him Oh and I do like him as an announcer and he does just fine. YOU trying coming up with different phrases that never get old week after week Edited September 15, 2019 by Badanswer
Don Otreply Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Who else did what Steve Tasker did on teams, and receiving combined? That’s HOF output. Go Bills!!!
richardb1952 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Very entertaining highlights. It was nice to see all the great plays over his career. I have a better perspective as to why he is mentioned on this site as a possible HOF candidate. Thanks for sharing.
RevWarRifleman Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Has the Hall of Fame committee seen this video? Lets get him in the HOF.
ComradeKayAdams Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 This reminds me how the NFL was a much better product back then, when special teams actually mattered and was legitimately one-third of the game.
