MiltonWaddams Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Innocent until proven guilty. I can’t argue it. Still, %#*} the Pats. 12 2

YoloinOhio Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 The NFL has never placed anyone on the exempt list as the result of a civil suit only.

This probably wont be a popular sentiment around here, but honestly this is the truth and the core of this country. Good comment bud But yeah, F the Pats and F AB! 12 1

This is relatively uncharted territory. Sexual assault in a civil suit is still sexual assault if he loses the case. I can’t say Roger will suspend him, but I would not be surprised if he did. The NFL doesn’t need to look like an enabler.
McBean Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Good. I want to dethrone the Pats with all their players. It’s going to be epic. Get your popcorn ready. 4 1
RoyBatty is alive Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I am glad he didnt get on the exempt list, that would be a gift for the PAts as he wouldn't count against their 53 man roster. He just got to New England, i cm sure the Pats wouldn't mind a few weeks of practice with him and still maintain their current 53. 1
D521646 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 the burden on the plaintiff is much lower than criminal, so this is why the NFL probably leaves him alone at this point, even if he loses the suit, it won't matter. Tim- 1
Bray Wyatt Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Well they havent interviewed the alleged victim yet, so I am not surprised. I wonder if after what she shows and tells them, if that will still be the same

So why was Tyrel Dodson placed on the list? Ohhhhh ... that's right ... because he's not a household name like Antonio "I Got Your Back," Brown. 1 3
PromoTheRobot Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 (edited) Didn't Dodson get 6 games without being convicted of anything? Pats are the NFL's made team. People who think Goodell is out to get the Pats are morons. Kraft only went to that massage spa because Roger was busy. Edited September 13, 2019 by PromoTheRobot 3 6

Dodson was placed on the list prior to anything, but he just recently copped a plea (plead guilty) and thats when he was suspended 2 1

That's the big issue i see with this whole case. If this assault actually happened, why isn't it in criminal court? The fact that it is only a civil suit screams money grab from everywhere and this lady should be ashamed. 1

Or....history shows it's next to impossible to win a criminal rape case so she went the civil route where you only need the majority of the jury. 1 1
BillsFanMike Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I'm fine with this as long as he's suspended before the Bills play them .?
rayray808 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I wonder if the league will censor the broadcast booth from bringing the issue up during the game... the score will get out of hand QUICK, and lotʻs of dead air space to talk about things that arenʻt happening on the field
JPP Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 okay.....book is not finished yet...still alot of chapters......lets wait and see what happens next....
