Wacka Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Had a couple disappear driving from San Jose to San Francisco on a Friday evening on Route 101 (10 lanes). The whole area is heavily developed. Cops searched for a few days and finally someone spotted a car had run off the road into a very marshy and weedy area. At least 10k cars passed by that spot. They found the couple drowned in the front seat of their submerged car.

Gary M Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 So it was because of google maps the car was found. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/09/13/google-earth-helps-solve-missing-florida-man-cold-case-22-years-later/2309070001/

Lurker Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 That image is just wild once you know what to look for. It must be quite a shock for the people living at 3789 Moon Bay Circle... https://www.neighborwho.com/FL/Wellington/3789-Moon-Bay-Cir/
Rocket94 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 There was a similar case some years back in Seattle. A woman mysteriously vanished. Her car somehow slid off the Floating bridge and she remained submerged for quite awhile.
