Nextmanup Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I live a bit further north than where this car was found. Those pond things the car is in are all over the place around here. My housing community has them as well. I agree the car is very close to land and I'm shocked no one saw the car. In my community, I see kids and other people screwing around at the edge of those bodies of water all the time. Sometimes fishing in them (!?) and so on. Can't believe no one saw the car!

The “lake” I lived on in Lantana people had a paddle boats and were out often. Must be a very deep lake to not be seen or noticed.
Just Jack Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Its the perfect crime. Get rid of the nosy neighbor, put him in a car, then send it into the local pond. When the statue of limitations run out, "hey! Look what I found!"

LabattBlue Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Am I supposed to see a car in that googlemaps ariel view? Is it one of those things you have to stare at in a certain way? lol
DC Tom Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I'm betting he was "last seen" driving northeast on Lake Isle Drive at a high rate of speed, and 20 years ago those palm trees and that guardrail weren't there. 1
KD in CA Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I bet a decent % of people that vanish without a trace end up like this. Lots of bad drivers and lots of bodies of water out there.
