Gugny Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 NON-FOOTBALL RELATED ANSWERS. What did YOU do yesterday that helped the Bills win the game? Late in the game, on Jets 3rd downs, every time I blew my train whistle, the Bills got the stop. 4 2
Chris from Rochester Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I was sitting on my sofa for the first 3 quarters, laid down after the FG and it was all good from there, you're welcome Bills fans 2 3
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Kept the faith. Did not allow myself to get worked over early turnovers. Was texting with my brothers the whole game, and trust me, their hair was on fire. 1 1 2
YoloinOhio Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Turned off the sound in the early 4th quarter. Left it off until the clock hit 0:00. 4 1
Nanker Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 The Bills won the game because I went on a nature walk all day on Cuttyhunk island. I did “tape” the game though. 4
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I kept saying the JETS Suck suck suck And I was right 2 4
billsfan1959 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I didn't watch the game live. I worked on building a lower deck and greenhouse at my home while monitoring the score. Then I calmly watched the replay last night. Along these lines, I remember watching the 75 Stanley Cup against the Flyers and the Sabres couldn't get anything past Bernie Parent. I stepped out of the livingroom and they scored. For the rest of the series, I listened to the TV while sitting in a chair in the hall outside the livingroom. It didn't work. 3 1
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 They won because I wasn't wearing a Bills jersey yesterday, only my hat. Success guaranteed! 1 1
H2o Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 They won because I refused to make a score prediction on here or when asked to by friends that are fellow Bills fans. They are always wrong and I just didn't want to take the chance. 3
Jerome007 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I used my lucky Bills coffee mug before the game, that's why. I had some doubts using it, as it was a gift from my ex-GF, but I still soldiered on. 1 1 1
plenzmd1 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Switched to my third hat after the safety, switched to my 2nd 26shirt after the two pointer...you are welcome! 2 1
notwoz Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I turned off my TV just before halftime and went out to do yard work. 1 1
CincyBillsFan Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) They won because my 6 year old grandson started quoting the announcers word for word in the 2nd half. It culminated in him solemnly saying after we had stopped screaming and high fiving the Bills winning TD pass "did you know Papa that the Bills have scored 17 unanswered points". His dad and I burst out laughing at that. Edited September 9, 2019 by CincyBillsFan 2 2 1
BritBill Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 My son went to bed at 16-0. I woke him up to tell him we'd won and he gave me a big high five. Magic. 2 1
nickrage Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 They were the better team all day without the turnovers we win big I think our offense seemed to be able to move the ball defense was absolutely lights out special teams was clearly better
Saxum Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I put @Gugny on ignore as I usually do before games and remove him from it after game if we win otherwise I wait until after last game of weekend is played. He was on ignore a lot last year, too often, and hope for him on ignore less this year. It worked better previous year. So @Gungy it is all about you. 1
Tisker A Tasker Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 ...because I told my daughter to get off her tablet. She started reading and the Bills came back. 1

A number of years ago the Bills were playing a playoff game, starting QB was out, they were losing badly at the half. Back up QB throws pick six to start second half. I started packing up my windsurfing equipment to literally go drown my sorrows. My wife continued to watch and called me back in the house. The rest is history. 1
