NI Bills Fan Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Teams with 4 turnovers or more than the opposition had a record of 6-177 before tonight according to 'Around the NFL'. (Apologies if someone else had dug this stat out earlier in this thread...just heard it now on tv) Superb comeback ... the beer tastes great tonight! Great to see both Murphy and Lawson show up when we were so concerned about the production at DE other than Hughes. Promising signs for Singletary too... and Josh bouncing back from a first half he must have been fairly down over. Monday morning doesn't seem so bad anymore. Go BILLS! 2 1

This team has alot to clean up on offense. That opening drive looked great until Dawkins got burned. Beasley struggled some. Gore is old and its time to put Devin in as RB1. 2
Luka Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Allen actually looked good today. His picks were tipped balls, the 1 fumble was on Morse getting absolutely blown up at the snap, the ball never even made a motion towards Allen's hands. He looked more accurate, more comfortable in the pocket. Most importantly he led the team back to win. Made some big throws in between Singletary shredding the Jets on that last drive and of course the touchdown. Brown and Beasley made a huge difference in the passing game today. Definitely underrated free agent pick ups in the offseason. I was way more concerned with the play calling. This should be a balanced offense, absolutely no reason to come out throwing 15 out of 16 plays. New England doesn't even do that and they have the GOAT at the position. We were built to run the ball. Drafted Singletary, released McCoy, you have Gore and Yeldon also in the backfield. Rebuilt the entire offensive line. Just a really strange approach to the game today. Next week hopefully makes more sense. Did anyone else notice Ford moving to guard and Neshke entering the game as RT in the 2nd half? That will probably remain the lineup the rest of the season. 4 2
DuckyBoys Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 todays win must have been how Cowboys fans felt when Romo threw five picks on MNF and they still won As a Bills fan I am used to winning due to fluke turnovers and game script not winning even despite being on the losing of the turnover battle

O line is a work in progress. I think they will settle in on a starting five by game 3. 1
DuckyBoys Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Allen career high passing yards today Sign of good things to come I hope

Tcali Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Ultimately the QB is responsible for getting the points on the board.JA didnt do that so well for most of the game.Good QBs take responsibility. Kudos for him for not sulking and getting in there and making it happen later. keep progressing JA or the Bills are screwed no matter how good the defense is. 1
vincec Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Hopefully next week they come out with some balance on offense.

It's too early to know mich about any team, but win is a win, and as the team grows this is great to have in our pocket.

Gotta correct when we are wrong. It wasn’t a great throw, but the pick itself was flukey. The ball just took a funky hop right into Mosley’s hands. It wasn’t the type of pick that leaves you shaking your head about the quarterback’s decision making, and makes you question if he’s “the guy”. It was the unfortunate kind that happen over the course of a season, and you hope the team can overcome. All four turnovers were exactly the same variety. 5
Element115 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I was not able to watch the game live due to being outside and being useful on a nice day. I just got done watching the first half, and I must say the Bills outplayed the Jets, they just had too many costly mistakes. 1
GETTOTHE50 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Bills are still a second half team like they were last year. McD and co can make adjustments, but they need to come out smoother. I think they woulda today if it wasn’t for the TOs.
