Got pancaked right off the snap on one play. Completely blown up, looked comical. First game and all that, but certainly not a good one.

Hopefully he learned a lot under fire today---Jets have a good defensive line.

Ty not a pro bowler but he's better than Ford or Mills last year.

Move him to RG and have Bates backup at RT.

Pretty much - no need to get worked up after one week. See about moving Ford inside some with Nsekhe at RT. Rotate him with Feliciano/Spain and see where he can make an impact.

Its Fords first ACTUAL reps - let him get his feet under him. I wouldn’t desert his play time at RT but I just think his skillset lies on the interior. We have Bates et al. as a backup utility.

I get the rookie has to play to develop, but you need to make sure you win the game as well.

Didn't Dawkins begin his career inside before they kicked him outside?

Oh and the Jets have a really good DL.  BTW, did Quinnen Williams play?

That's a good question. Didn't hear his name called once

Cody played horribly at RT today. I posted this in a few threads, but this near INT from Allen was the result of Ford getting smoked (just one example). Allen should have checked down to Knox on this throw, but Ford needs to improve. This is why Nyscke was in at the end

He's a 2nd round rookie.

And to the bold, no it isnt. McD said in his post-game that rotating Ty in every 3rd drive was scripted and planned and had nothing to do with what Ford was or wasnt doing.

Quinnen was the one who may have caused Morse's bad snap...he blew Morse back as soon as the ball wiggled

We won.

STFU

GTFO this thread then...

I was wondering why he was on The sideline.   Maybe he is better at guard right now.

It was planned from the start to rotate tackles so they could give Cody some live coaching on sets to improve his skills.
