If this was Nathan Peterman, McDermott would've pulled him already.

 

And that's partially why Peterman was unsuccessful, constantly jerked around by a coach who can't evaluate offensive talent.

 

So at least he's letting Allen stick it out. Don't have much faith in Allen being much more than what he's always been, but yanking him in and out of games wouldn't help.
