Orlando Buffalo Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 That is a crazy amount for someone his age but makes ATL look good and does lock in a dominant player until he is not good most likely. 2

He probably got an escalator for "not behaving like AB" Edit: and I'm good with that 2 1

atlbillsfan1975 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Good signing for both. Puts to bed the Julio going anywhere for awhile. He is a ‘Blank’ guy. I think he will be productive for the entire amount of that contract. Also allows him and Ryan to play together for their entire career most likely. 1
StHustle Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Crazy deal IMO for a guy with injury issues. A FULLY guaranteed extension and basically paying him the whole check up front??? I mean...am I reading this right?
Steptide Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Kinda crazy to get that much money up front

Chandler#81 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hijack the plane and bring him here to sign! Well, maybe not hijack..’encourage’ the pilot to reconsider his flight plan.
Happy Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Good for both parties. Probably Julio's last big payday and the Falcons and Matt Ryan need him. Still some big production left in Julio.
John from Riverside Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hoping our first pick next year will be a wr 1
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 ...he wasn't going anywhere...Arthur is a pretty damn good owner.....as long as you shop at Home Depot.....
WhoTom Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 The owner signed a Blank check. It was a work of Art. 2
Doc Brown Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 That's a lot of guaranteed money for somebody in their 30's. There's a risk that an injury could derail his career and then the Falcons are stuck in salary cap hell. Jones is well worth the money but it's still a risky contract.
