Sorry to burst your bubble, but a tweet from Albert Breer proves nothing other than his own opinion.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it wasn't his opinion.  And he's an unbiased observer.

If you say so.  I am not going to engage in this silly argument any further.

Honestly that video AB released made me feel bad for him, he sounded exhausted and exasperated in the phone call.

That's fair.  I think he's overrated as a coach but that doesn't mean he deserved this headcase, even if he should have seen this coming sooner or later.  I think Gruden's own ego ("I can fix anyone") got in the way there.

This is accurate but I feel the closest comparison is Terrell Owens who seemed to have a screw loose (doing pushups in his driveway).  Not a perfect comparison but it's the only one I can think of.  He also constantly thought he was the victim even after being inducted into the HOF.

Don't disagree at all. Was just pointing out the different character flaws is all. Most teams can deal with a "me first" attitude or two and off field issues.

Hell Owen's was a PR dream compared to AB in retrospect.

There's a difference between behavior inside the workplace and outside the workplace.

Outside the context of sports, people with a functioning cerebral cortex find this concept self-evident.

Really.  Is that so.

A lot of us have or had specific clauses in our employment contracts prohibiting us from conduct that would potentially cast our employer in a bad light.  Certified professionals, such as lawyers, judges, engineers, social workers, doctors and nurses, and chartered accountants, have to abide by standards that not only prohibit certain specified conduct, but broadly prohibit "conduct unbecoming" a member of that profession generally.   The same is true of members of the military and the Federal government.

So perhaps the issue is not "people with a functioning cerebral cortext", but that people with a reasonably broad life experience and knowledge of the world don't find this concept self-evident because it is not, in fact, self evident.

He handled that as well as anybody could've.  I give him credit for his continued optimism and energy even if he did lose Mack, Cooper, and AB within a year and a half.

He handled that perfectly, imo. Loved the crack about the voice on the recorded phone call being Frank Caliendo instead of him. Loved how he emphasized the guys who are there, too.

Yeah, all these people talking about the AB being changed by the Cheater way forget that Gordon has been ***** up with them repeatedly there.

Exactly...like Belichick is some type of great life coach. He may be a damn good football coach, but he's also had his share of cheaters, dopers, and murderers on his roster

Now that’s funny.  There are only so many ways to state the obvious.  I am quitting at one.

There's that old "monkey see, monkey do" idiom that may apply here.

Yeah, I agree.  When someone who is an impartial observer makes a statement, it carries far more weight than when someone close to the situation (like AB or his agent) claim something.  That's what is obvious.
