HOUSE Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 “I think there’s a lot of people here that people are going to be shocked about by the time the season is over,” Williams said Friday. “You haven’t heard me say one thing about needs in that area. I’m not worried about it.” https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2019/09/07/gregg-williams-new-york-jets-pass-rush/ 1

Don Otreply Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 What? Did someone just say something? Oh, just a ? Go Bills!!! 1
GimmeSomeProcess Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I am so sick of this guy and the narrative that he is a defensive genius. He once was but he has not adapted well to the modern nfl. In the last 10 seasons he’s had top 10 defense in yards allowed twice and in points once. Dude is over hyped and failed miserable last year with a way more talented browns roster. 1
Best Player Available Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 If the league had any balls. Greggo would have been banned for life from the NFL. 11 3 3

Then other teams figured out that Williams blitzes every play. He is like a guy at a poker tournament that raises every single hand. It usually starts ok but never ends well. 6
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Gregg has often been known as “credible.” You know, he may quit on the Jests if he decides to take the standing job offer to become the next league commissioner... 2
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Strikes me as another Rex Ryan. Highlights the strong points of his unit while ignoring glaring deficiencies. We will see beginning tomorrow. 3
ddaryl Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) You're telling me that Gregg "Can't Hold a Job for more than 2 years" William's said this... Edited September 7, 2019 by ddaryl 2 1

Marv's Neighbor Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 What a perpetual BS'er! He'll run his mouth for a season or more then suddenly move to a different team. He's the NFL's version of the Music man. 1 1

I wonder what is going through Frank Gore's head as he prepares for THIS game. Frank was one of Greggos targets in Bounty Gate - Quote NEW ORLEANS – Frank Gore unwittingly played a role in the Super Bowl host city's most recent football scandal. It was Gore's head that former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams called for in a pregame speech before a 2011 playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. Audio of that locker room speech contributed to the league's decision to indefinitely suspend Williams from coaching and ban head coach Sean Payton for a year as punishment for a bounty program. "Yeah, I heard it," Gore said Wednesday. "Kill the head, the body will die." Edited September 7, 2019 by cd1 1
PetermansRedemption Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Well, he did turn down 16 head coaching offers to be the DC with the Jets soooo....
