If a game is on, they always show the falls and someone, somewhere making wings anyway, might as well just embrace it.

You have not been around very long then.  There was a poster who wanted to trade our started DE to cardinals for their backup backup QB John Skelton and convinced a number of (formerly) respected posters of the validity of his insane idea.

 

Oh and on the original issue there was actually a poll on which name the new team was to be called and Buffalo Bills was the favorite.

I liked the team's original name -- Bisons. I've never cared for "Bills" even though this will always be my team. I'd like to see new new unis too -- Beige, brown (trim) and a copper bison head on the helmet.

Thank god the team name is tied to the city.  The franchise likely would have moved a long time ago with a more transportable name.
