Dkollidas
Who do you like? Who don’t you like? Looks to be a loaded class and could see us drafting Allen’s WR#1 next year. I dont think well be bad enough enough to get Jeudy, but who else does everyone like, particularly to fit into our offensive system?
FeelingOnYouboty
So many good ones this year but my two favorites are Ceedee Lamb-Oklahoma and Jalen Reagor-TCU
thebandit27
Guys I know I like: Jerry Jeudy - Alabama CeeDee Lamb - Oklahoma Henry Ruggs - Alabama Tee Higgins - Clemson Guys I'm not as excited about that everyone else seems to like: Tylan Wallace - Oklahoma State Jalen Reager - TCU A lot of people are all over Colorado's Laviska Shenault, and I'm not quite there yet. To me, he's Sammy Watkins-lite. His build and skillset is eerily similar to Sammy, and--like Sammy after his sophomore year--hasn't quite shown that he can run routes. He's mostly been a get-the-ball-in-his-hands guy. Of course, he could go out as a JR and show (like Sammy) that he can run the route tree and make future NFL DBs look silly in the process, in which case he's instantly become one of my top 4 WRs.
Bill from NYC
Davonta Smith imo, is shockingly good. He does not have blinding speed but he is consistently open and makes catches while completely horizontal. Alabama defenders who practiced against him every day were talking about his skills BEFORE the winning catch against Georgia in the 2018 title game as a freshman. Coming into that game he only had 7 receptions. He was hurt part of last season but was a major contributor when he returned. Remember who he plays for and with. It isn't easy to put up gaudy numbers when you are playing opposite, Jeudy, Ruggs, and sophomore Jaylen Waddle who is also a GREAT receiver, and; Saban makes sure his RBs get plenty of carries. He even seems to want the team to run more this year, not less. If this kid stays healthy and was drafted by the Bills I think each and every fan would be thrilled by his play week after week, but of course I am not a scout. Jmo. With Dabol we can do anything and honestly don't feel we need an elite WR now with the system we run.
