So like the space force LMAO????

Only someone who doesn't understand the world and where it IS right now on a national defense level (not only where it's going) would downplay the need for a strong presence in space. The entire global economy, not to mention our military (and others) depend on being able to protect assets in orbit.

You've been drinking early, and I respect that, and I also am glad you're getting all your really laughable ideas out here in PPP rather than at the dinner table where you'd rightfully be mocked by family.

Creating a new administrative command with no operational responsibilities within DoD is not the same as creating entirely new, independent federal departments with operational and regulatory enforcement authority.

Locomack, in his infinitely nutless dipshittedness, is comparing apples to shiny little stones.

I am so sick of the people living in rural areas telling people who live in highly populated areas, who pay for this country, how it should run. Sorry but my money is paying for your army, your health care, your social security (which is socialism by the way), your pensions (which is also socialism), your unemployment insurance ( which is also socialism )...

Well, none of this is true, and you really don't understand what socialism is. Congrats, you're a moron!

However, if you want to play this game: I am so sick of snobby elitist cidiots eating food produced by the people living in rural areas. Sorry, but my food is preventing you from starving and my electricity is keeping your lights on.

I voted Republican before him. I can’t help it that I have a brain and see that he is pulling the moral fiber of this country apart with his BS. Trump was a democrat his whole life, never owned a gun, skipped the military, talked about those in the south like they were ######ed until right before he ran, and generally acted no different than a Clinton.... yet you love him? Sorry but its a cult.  He suddenly the model of a Republican and an American ??? SAAADD!!!  He is aligned with a our worst enemies, has wrecked our global allies, has trashed our moral fiber because he has none, and in general has made a mockery of the office.

The worst thing is 80% of us in this country agree on many things, but he plays up the divide because it suits him to keep everyone divided. That is what dictators do. That is what he is. He could care less about you. If 1 million middle class people died tomorrow, he would be back to mean tweeting the next week about something else because he is a self serving dictator.,

I like America. I just don’t like Trump. I think there are many more people outside of rural America that feel the way I do and I think it will show up at the voting booths in 2020 regardless of who runs against him.

Stop watching Fox News and start listening to people outside of your immediate circle of Friends and you may find the world isn’t the same as you think it is.  We will all find out in 2020 when he has Hannity hosting the Trump News Network trashing Fox News as Fake News.

If 80% or thereabouts agree on many things, some of those undoubtedly are cracking down on illegal immigration and having orderly borders, fiscal responsibility by the federal government and making changes to private health insurance laws and practices so that insurance and the underlying care are more affordable.  Trump would play ball on all of these. It would be nice if we had a likeable and effective President, but I'll settle for effective.  His political opposition isn't focused on the things that 80% of the population agree on as you say and they are doing more to stand in the way of progress than working toward any of the agreeable (to most voters) areas.    His political opposition is really stupid because we have a President who more than at least his 2 predecessors loves to make deals.  Trump isn't overly ideological.  They are doing the opposite.

JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS: ‘Forget the Bigot in the Pick-up Truck, Biggest Impediment to his Career was Modern-Day Liberals.’

ABC News was offered a preview of a forthcoming documentary about the life of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The film, produced by conservative filmmaker Michael Pack and Manifold Productions is scheduled for theatrical release in early 2020. The documentary is entitled, “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words.”

ABC reports Thomas saying, “I felt as though in my life I had been looking at the wrong people as the people who would be problematic toward me. We were told that, ‘Oh, it’s gonna be the bigot in the pickup truck; it’s gonna be the Klansmen; it’s gonna be the rural sheriff… But it turned out that through all of that, ultimately the biggest impediment was the modern day liberal. They were the ones who would discount all those things because they have one issue or because they have the power to caricature you.”

So Democrats, then and now, in other words.

Thank you for your rational, fact filled post.

Actually it is neither.  You either are  lying, don't have a personal understanding or just repeat talking points.  Either way this reads as an elitist wannabe who carries their water but is never invited to the party.

Pelosi to lead delegation to climate summit amid U.S. withdrawal from Paris climate deal

CBS News, by Grace Segers

Original Article

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leading a delegation of members of Congress to the annual international climate summit known as COP25 in Madrid, Spain, next week. While the delegation will include members of both the House and Senate, it will not be bipartisan, as only Democrats will be attending. "It is a privilege to accompany a high-level Congressional delegation to Spain to combat the existential threat of our time: the climate crisis," Pelosi said in a statement on Saturday.

Of course she'll need carbon-neutral military transportation and round-the-clock security for herself, the other Democrats going, and 125 of the "guests" going with them on this taxpayer-funded European vacation important business trip.

Why the Democrats Can’t Settle for Censure

by David Catron

Original Article

Their rhetoric notwithstanding, congressional Democrats understand that their chances of ousting President Trump from office are infinitesimal. There are a few, like AOC and “the Squad,” who still cling to the pipe dream that Trump will be impeached, convicted, and perp-walked out of the White House for multifarious yet oddly ill-defined crimes. More realistic Democrats understand that this is never going to happen, but they also know that mere censorship of the president is not an option if they wish to avoid a revolt by the left wing of their congressional caucus and voter apathy that could manifest itself in low turnout next November.

On Thursday, former President Barack Obama was the main guest at a fundraiser in Silicon Valley. When asked a question about the many candidates running, he told those present that he couldn't care less whether they'd like the eventual nominee. They just have to vote for him/her/it.

"Everybody needs to chill out about the candidates, but gin up about the prospect of rallying behind whoever emerges from this process," Obama told the millionaire techies, according to far-left news channel CNN. "There will be differences" between them, he added, "but I want us to make sure that we keep in mind that, relative to the ultimate goal, which is to defeat a president and a party that has ... taken a sharp turn away from a lot of the core traditions and values and institutional commitments that built this country," those differences are "relatively minor."

"The field will narrow and there's going to be one person, and if that is not your perfect candidate and there are certain aspects of what they say that you don't agree with and you don't find them completely inspiring the way you'd like, I don't care," he went on to say. "Because the choice is so stark and the stakes are so high that you cannot afford to be ambivalent in this race."

In other words, shut the heck up and vote for whomever the Democratic Party nominates. You don't have to like him or her, you just have to vote for him/her.

You've got to give it to Obama: he doesn't make a secret of his arrogance and party-first mentality. Principles? Yack, who needs those? Disagreeing with the nominee about "climate change" and "health care"? Who cares? The nominee will have a "D" next to her/his name, and that's the thing that truly matters.

PUTIN PUPPETS, UNMASKED: Impeachment Testimony Describes Putin’s Propaganda War On American Fracking.

“In recent testimony to House lawmakers, Fiona Hill, John Bolton’s former direct report at the National Security Council and the White House’s former top expert on Russia, reported that Russian propaganda was working to undermine the use of hydraulic fracturing, aka fracking, in the United States.”

Well, of course. Fracking has done more to undermine Putin than any other single U.S. initiative.

As Walter Russell Mead wrote in 2017:

If Trump were the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he’d be doing:

Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could
Blocking oil and gas pipelines
Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions
Cutting U.S. military spending
Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia’s ally Iran.

Yep. You know who did do these things? Obama. You know who supports these things now? Democrats.

OBVIOUSLY, A PUTIN PUPPET:

Bob McManus: Andrew Cuomo stands with America’s energy enemies.

News came over the long holiday weekend that, for the first time in 70 years, the United States in September had been a net oil exporter for an entire month. This was a signal achievement, almost entirely attributable to hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) — and a will in Washington to break US dependence on foreign energy.

The war is far from won, but for now, America has degraded the ability of a few Iranian gunboats’ to body-slam the US economy by throttling off the Strait of Hormuz.

But no thanks to Cuomo. Or, more precisely, no thanks to those members of the Democratic Party so dedicated to green extremism that they effectively are sailing with the gunboats — consequences be damned.

In this respect, Cuomo is a type. He almost single-handedly forced the approaching shutdown of the Indian Point nuclear plant — it produces 35 percent on New York’s electricity — with no clear plan for replacing its power.

And his theatrical opposition both to fracking and the transmission of natural gas across the state holds him in high esteem with greens, but has had substantial and growing negative effects on New York, especially upstate.

The governor engineered an outright ban on fracking — the technology responsible for a 55 percent increase in hydrocarbon extraction in America over the past decade, with no significant ill effects.

In so doing, Cuomo cut the natural-gas-rich Southern Tier out of the relative prosperity currently enjoyed by nearby fracking states like Pennsylvania and Ohio.

His positions help Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran, at the expense of working-class Americans.
