I can't actually think of a way to make "He hates trees because one fell on him" funny.

Telephone pole attacks, yes.  Not trees.

If you changed it to "he died because a tree fell on him" you'd get at least a chuckle out of Gator.

But, yeah, leaving it at 'he hates trees because he was crippled when 1 fell on him'  probably only elicits a slight grin from him.

If a tree falls in the forest and HAHA Gator doesn't hear it, does he still make a laughing sound?

Depends.  Did it fall on a conservative American?

'Cause if it did, pretty sure he would.  The Farce is strong with that one.

House procedure is the sole provision of the House alone.  And now that minority parties hold absolutely no power in chambers, the Speaker is free to amend procedure however they want.

Pelosi's perfectly within her rights to "bypass the official vote," because there is no official vote if she amends House procedure to say so.

Harley Rouda (D) a congressman from CA, stated a few minutes ago on Fox News that Trump violated his oath by his dealings with Zerensky. He added that he's been pressing for months for an impeachment inquiry over this.

She might just as well change the procedure to the only vote that counts is hers.

The Little Engine That Couldn’t

by Roger Kimball

Original Article

Those whom the gods would destroy, they first make ridiculous. Has it happened to the Democrats yet? I think so, yes. I think so. “Whistleblower” is already being enrolled in the lexicon of political disasters, and not just on account of pictures of the priapic Bill Clinton with Monica Lewinsky and featuring a rude joke about “whistleblowers” (“You know how to whistle don’t you? You just put your lips together and blow”). No, “whistleblower” has entered the joke book of American politics because of the wild discrepancy between aspiration and reality that it represents. Just last week, an all-points bulletin was blaring from the Get Trump media

The Walls Really are Closing In . . . On the Elite

by Kevin Portteus

Original Article

Whenever the Left makes a characterization of the Right, it’s safe to be that it’s probably projection. “Projection” is when someone attempts to mask one’s own negative attributes or characteristics by attributing them to others. Christine Blasey Ford accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, but the Left—from Hollywood to Jeffrey Epstein to drag queen story hour for kids at public libraries—is a putrid cesspool of rape and pedophilia. Conservatives are labeled as racists, but the Left features such luminaries as recently fired anti-white New York Times editor Sarah Jeong and blackface aficionados like Virginia governor Ralph Northam and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Democrats and the media (same difference?) spent nearly a decade championing Obama and excusing each and every thing he did (even when he screwed up) and now they can’t figure out why nobody is taking them seriously when it comes to this impeachment inquiry of Trump.

It’s almost like they’re surprised we know they’re incredibly biased.

Kimberley Strassel explained it far better (as usual):

2) Now we are told that Trump asking about a rival is an impeachable offense AND moreover that to even query the actions of prior administration is to engage in "conspiracy theories."

Go reread Orwell. #MemoryHole
