Nanker Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Damn it. McDermott better get some better ties in his wardrobe or we ain’t ever gonna get a good punter. 1 minute ago, YoloinOhio said: Bills tried to sign him yesterday , he was on his way to Buffalo, but ended up signing with the Vikes due to coaching ties 4
boco357 Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 I'm afraid this a scare tactic to Bojo. Week 2 maybe vets will come cheaper too. Afraid he will punt week 1.

Sherlock Holmes Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Just give me Anger, always wanted the dude since he was a tad over drafted... Allen would be fine, only guy that peaked my interest of this group was this mammoth of a punter. What's his 40 time
BITE ME Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Maybe the Bills should just go for it on ALL 4th downs. ?

Meazy26 Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 I’d love to take a shot on Marquette King, but I guess teams don’t like outspoken punters.
bilzfancy Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 When your punter is the worst player on the team, I think it's a good thing. Remember when Moorman was one of the better players on the team? The Bills didn't fare too well. I am not as gung ho on replacing Bojo as others, especially if Hauschka trusts him as a holder.

Doc Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 If no Anger, whose net average (consistently 6 yards fewer than gross average) bothers me, then go with Miller.

The season prior he had a 47 avg/42 net. I doubt he fell that far off the cliff. Back to full health now. I’d at least give him a tryout. He career average is damn good. Still only 30.
blacklabel Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 You'd think Ryan Allen would've found a new home by now but I haven't heard/seen anything on him taking so much as a visit with a team. I'm only speculating but I'd guess that the dude might have an injury/condition that's not public knowledge right now. Either that or Billy Bellychunx is giving him less than glowing reviews.
Doc Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Would be interesting to know if guys like Allen, King, Anger, etc. don't want/think they need to try out for the Bills or the Bills just aren't interested? 1
Meazy26 Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 King is a weapon if healthy (which appears to be the case). Not sure if he has certain contact demands maybe turning teams off, or just that teams don’t like fun punters. Pat Mcafee was fun and outspoken. Punters are people too.

Maybe they aren’t interested in playing for the Bills, or are asking for more $ than the Bills believe they are worth
