Reed83HOF Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 'Reign Over Me' with Adam Sandler & Don Cheadle great flick, but man once you find out what's going on - it can really over come you
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 The end of Shawshank Redemption sometimes get me a little choked up. 1

CookieG Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 the Grapes of Wrath. Its about as dusty a movie as you can get, at least until Interstellar came out. 1
Mark80 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Braveheart - "Freedom" Field of Dreams - "Hey, Dad. You wanna have a catch" As Good as it Gets - Jack's monologue at the end
Rob's House Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) The end of Karate Kid where we see Johnny learn humility and sportsmanship as he swallows his disappointment and congratulates the villain, who just stole his title with an illegal kick. It always gets dusty right there. Edited September 3, 2019 by Rob's House 2 3
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Not a movie, but the series finale of "Six Feet Under", specifically the closing montage ... TV at it's absolute finest

Royale with Cheese Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Marley and Me. My friend showed me that movie a day after I had to put my dog to sleep. He told me it's a great feel good story ....he thought the prank was funny. Then he got a dog that only lived to be 5 a short time after. After his dog died, he called me up and apologized for doing that to me. He'd never owned a dog and used to make fun of people who cried when their pets died....now he knew the feeling.

It's unfortunate that your friend had to go through it in order to understand how hard it is. That makes him either really stupid or just a plain old dick.
