Since Shady was cut loose, my suspicion is the Bills use one of their regular 10 slots for Wade.  Three is not a huge number of RBs to try and make it through the season.

On the other hand... it's a lot easier to find a running back during the season than a quarterback.

How are 31 teams missing on him.

They are obviously wrong. Should have paid attention to the "experts" on these boards.

i also hope they make wade no.11.  we won't need him this year and no other team can poach him. the only drawback is that we can't put him on the 53 this year, but like i said, we shouldn't need him. next year though....

yep !

Yep. It’s all about separation at this level, especially between the twenties. But I think Williams can be an asset in the red zone as we’ve seen a little bit of this preseason.

he separates. just not with his feets.

and has much to learn and develop , even at his age. he can do the work though. Ceilings limited. but if Brian D can makes use of him? awesome.

we already have flyboys in Brown and Foster

Ugh, I thought the Bills should have signed Lauletta. Now the Eagles have him.

cam lewis? i must not be as knowledgeable as i thought.

Quoting from another site...

"The former UB cornerback impressed the Bills coaching staff throughout the summer. A concussion derailed any chances of Lewis competing for a roster spot late in August, but he is another prospect that the Bills would probably love to develop."

Yeah that Logan Thomas "experiment" set the Bills back decades.

Btw, Thomas is still in the league. Plays for the Detroit Lions. Not bad for a "failed experiment".

Gordon told no contract negotiations will be done until after season... Trade or nothing???

It seems really quiet right now at one Bills drive. My gut is saying this is a possibility right now. Maybe a 5th or 4th and conner McDermott or ike botenger?

I don't care if Gordon is younger than McCoy. Why would they trade assets to give a different RB a bigger contract? Don't see it happening, personally.

Many are pointing out the demand for players waived by the Bills as a strength of the roster.  I think it's also a sign of good coaching as is the 4-0 preseason record.  The players at the bottom of the roster have been coached well and have performed better than the competition.  Coach McD and staff have created a culture where the right kind of players are brought in, get coached up and improve as players.  That happens top to bottom.  Trust the process.

And on top of that, I don't remember a team with a 6th round pick and two 7th round picks making the 53.  This front office looks pretty smart.
