He will be good at helping us move the sticks and a good change of pace from Singletary.
akcash Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 He reminds me a lot of Mike Hart when he was at Michigan... He's like the NFL's version of Mike Hart.

C.Biscuit97 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Should I start DS as a flex this week? Or too risky? 1

He hasn't had a chance to do anything, so the jury is out and my opinion is nothing but an opinion. But it IS "relatively" high for a running back these days. It's really a devalued position and teams generally only draft players they believe to be true difference makers in the first few rounds. So the expectations should be a tad higher for DS than say, an LT, WR, DE, or corner who by virtue of position, have more potential to be high impact players. We'll just have to wait to see what the kid has and hope for the best. Nothing to accurately judge him by at the moment. 1 1
Bookie Man Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 They should play Sister Christian every time he scores. MOTORIN! Imagine 70k fans singing that together lol. 1

Myself, I can't fathom drafting a RB in the first couple of rounds, regardless of how highly touted they are. And for the reasons you explained. I know (knew) nothing of DS leading up to this draft. The video I've seen is impressive, but does it translate to the next level? Man, I hope so. 24 minutes ago, NC Book said: They should play Sister Christian every time he scores. MOTORIN! Lurker Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Singletary threw the block that allowed Allen to score. Heads up play for a rookie who had a memorable debut... 3

Iverwig Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 He’s a good one. He was nervous to start the game but once he got going he became more comfortable. Hopefully he gets a lot more carries next week.

Ben Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 4 for 70 is insane he was the best player on the field. feed him
jrober38 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 He needs 20 touches next week. Everything changed after he touched the ball late in the 3rd quarter.
PetermansRedemption Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I hope he’s the bellcow back as soon as next week. Gore/Singletary can spell him when he’s tired, depending on the down (Gore 1/2, Yeldon 3rd)
