Royale with Cheese Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I feel really bad for Shady. He leaves Philly, they win a Super Bowl. He leaves Buffalo, they will win a Super Bowl. 5 12 4 1
Augie Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 They can get a draft pick for Bodine, but get SQUAT for Shady. That tells you something about the RB position and that contract. 1

I'm honestly shocked. My thought exactly but probably had more to do with his contract. Edited August 31, 2019 by YoloinOhio
JaCrispy Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Looks like those of us calling for a trade when McD first got here were proven right after all....Shady was at his highest value at that point and EVERYONE knew he wasn’t in the future plans of the team, especially when the team should have been tanking....Bills have done many good things, personnel wise- but I gotta think they messed up with this one- just didn’t play it right. 1 1

Matt_In_NH Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 My only surprise is that it took this long. They kept him for trade purposes only and were ready to move on when they signed Gore, Yeldon and drafted Singletary, writing was on the wall.
JXCOL3 Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Not gonna lie, he reminded me alot of CJ spillers last season, this past season. Always bouncing out of bounds.
GunnerBill Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Wow. I am stunned. And I think it is the wrong move. 4

CLTbills Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Wow. Very shocked by this. Can't believe they weren't able to get any value for him.

buffalobloodfloridahome Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 He has clearly lost a step and we have so much depth at RB it only makes sense. Obviously he had little to no trade value for a washed up rb at 6 mill a year. 1
stevestojan Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 We got a 6th round pick for a bag of used hockey pucks that played Center but nothing for McCoy??? 1
