Helping a division rival, especially the Patriots isn't worth a 6th rounder. Making them overpay after we cut him and use more cap space is more valuable than a 6th rounder. 1 1 2

He is a vet and if the Bills just cut him and the Pats* wanted him he probably would of signed with them anyway. Way to go Beane. 2

Expand that or we figured that if they wanted info badly enough they'd have signed him, and so instead we made them pay an insanely high price for what they were getting...
