We all have our favorites but I'll trust the specialists.  My only beef with the "god" that is Beane is him not getting anything for Shady last year or this offseason.

Backs don’t get much these days, but something still could have been had some point. I find it hard to believe they haven’t been down on Shady for a while. I really doubt that parting with Shady isn’t something that hasn’t thought of before. This sort of cut doesn’t just happen out of nowhere.

I don’t understand why they didn’t trade him last off-season prior to the rebuilding year. Keeping a high priced vet through a year they knew would be a struggle only to cut him the next season is confusing to me.

So The Bills are carry 4 TE's then? Wow! In the 80's and even 90's, a lot of teams just carried 2.

Heck, Houston didn't even carry 1 TE.

Croom is a waste

Maybe. He is a threat in the passing game. The Bills May be able to deal one of these guys.....or Kroft may not be as healthy as reported.

He certainly had a good presaeson. I wouldn't mind seeing him re signed .

Why not give him a year to, you know, learn to play football?

Agreed. Neal has versatility.

The roster lists Neal as a safety for now but they have been playing him as more of a slot corner/big nickel.  That seems to be why the roster looks out of balance with 5 CB and 5 Safety’s listed.

Either Croom or Kroft is going on IR is my guess.

How is Corey B. still on this roster

I have to believe that he won’t be this time tomorrow.

No need to cut him until they sign his replacement.  Only a matter of hours now...

Yup.  I'd like to know the details of the trade offers (if any) Beane received last year.

Hauschka must love him as a holder or something.  Maybe that’s been playing into it.  But his punting will get him kicked off the roster

Only until they claim a better option.

Yep, however on the merits, there's no sense keeping Croom.
