I take it as, this year we should make the playoffs but probably won't go far. Next year, with a bunch of cap space to add even more talent, we turn into a true Super Bowl contender.

I think this is still a building year as McBeane see it. The realities of W-L may bite them if things don't go as planned this year, but this roster is still not SB quality and I'm sure they (and the Pegula''s) know it...

This is, we expect to make the playoffs and watch our young guys progress so that we can be true SB contenders the next year with the addition of a few more pieces. 1

Not a bad plan, but can you trade an aging K with that salary? 1 minute ago, Lurker said: I think this is still a building year as McBeane see it. I suspect the McBeane team is doing things the way most successful GMs operate: Try to win now, without selling out the future. Grow, get better this year, but still keep your eye on the future. And have the resources available to make the necessary moves. 3 1

HavUHerdThaHoard Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 believe Wade makes it here but yes can see where people would be bit shocked but guy is great in space and just a buzz when he has ball in hands that he can take it distance ,no other back left on roster has that trait . 2

Barring a significant jump from Allen. It makes sense to give Singletary every rep they can as 31 year old finesse RB's don't have a good track record (see LT, Thurman Thomas, Marshall Faulk, etc.). 1
