I’ll trust them, as it’s all I can do, but I liked him. Good luck with the Browns. Hope it works out well for him.

I liked him, but I think Bates maybe made a good impression on them and so they maybe that helped them make the decision.

Yes.. that must be the case re Bates...

I think they have given Teller away a bit cheap though

When Spain went down, it was Boettger who went in and not Teller.  We just got draft picks for a 3rd string guard who we were going to cut.  Why are people complaining?

Because that is what they do. Conditioned too

I wonder if it was our own or the one we got from the Newhouse trade

Maybe; depends on where they see Bates playing.

Yeah, between Morse, Spain, Long, Feliciano, and Ford, they are set in the middle.  Wonder if McDermott is back in play?

What is cheaper a 5th and a 6th

or

Nothing when they cut him?

I'll admit, I'm flummoxed by this one.

You might want to take some Kaopectate.

I've heard that helps.

They pick up a 5th and 6th, lose a 7th.....I like it.  Lots of depth on the interior so they would have waived somone who got pickeed up with no draft capital....

Two draft picks for Wyatt Teller? What is this sorcery. The guy was getting cut.

I literally just said this to a co-worker... 2 picks for a guy that was going to get cut, or at best be lowest on the depth chart? I'll take it.

Reminds me of the time he got a pick for Newhouse. I don't know how the hell Beane pulls this crap off.

There is 5.

Add in Dawkins Nsekhe Bates you are at 8. What if they are only keeping 8?

Also Think Boettger is the 9th

Think Boettger is a better prospect then Teller.

I had Teller making the team along with Bates.  I guess they like someone better at the 9th spot.

Either Boettger or McDermott probably.

More than likely, the pick we get for this trade who turn out to be nothing but at least it's better than just outright cutting him.

As a fan base, we might have overrated Teller.  H started the last 6 games for us and the FO made it a priority to sign interior lineman.  Teller obviously didn't impress the coaching staff enough.

Browns were desperate at RG, I think they knew that. Also this is the same GM who provided the 1st pick in the 3rd rd for Tyrod Taylor the same year he was drafting a QB #1 overall.
