They’re UB’s longest road trip, so there’s that….and the MAC can’t fall much further back, being one of the bottom feeder conferences. Would seem NIU would languish in the MW, but it’s a bigger pond.

 

Seems longer than it is when Bulls DI move was so full of hope.

In terms of team vibes, its the best bowl game out there.  Let the boys have some fun.  At the end of the day, with the playoffs, these other bowl games are all pretty meaningless.  Go to the one that the players will have a good time.

I will agree that Bahamas is the best choice given what was available, but its essentially a vacation/reward and not a serious football game

None of the bowl games basically are a serious football game.. except the playoff games 

 

But you can bet to the players especially the ones whose last time it will ever be playing football they're going to care

11am Bahamas time but noon in the Eastern USA, but point taken.  It's a fun bowl for the players but not terribly prestigious. Doesn't take away from a great season.  Just go and snuff out the Flames.

Ever since the playoffs has been expanded and even just been 4

 

Most of the bowl games are not that serious or prestigious 

 

The only prestigious bowl games to me are the new years 6

 

Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl

 

I don't think there's a difference between the meineke car Care bowl and the Bahamas bowl or the international bowl

Some bowls pay more than others. Bahamas was always a low payout. But I think all MAC schools pool bowl money anyway.

Dolac or Murdoch? Dolac is going into the draft. (Git'r dun, Beane!) Murdoch has at least two more seasons of eligibility. He hasn't entered the portal yet. (Only 3 UB players entered and all three played Saturday anyway, including kicker Upton Bellenfant who committed to Texas Tech next year but kicked 4 FGs and 2 XPs.)

 

The players seem to love playing for Lembo. In fact it was the players still in touch with Shaun Dolac that convinced him to come back to UB after committing to Utah State last year. But with NIL money it's hard to keep good players. UB has an NIL fund but it's not enough to keep a player from going to a P4 program.
